COMMON NAME: Epiphytic Cacti (Zig Zag, Curly Sue, Hurricane, Rhipsalis, Shark Tooth)

LIGHT: Medium to bright indirect

WATERING: Allow soil to dry 2-3 inches from the top - sensitive to cold and tap water, use distilled room temperature water if possible

SOIL: Well draining, airy, mix with organic matter - can use cactus soil with added orchid bark or peat moss

FERTILIZING: Fertilize once in the spring with a diluted balanced fertilizer for house plants, and then a second time in the beginning of summer with a fertilizer for orchids or flowering houseplants

PRUNING: Prune as needed to remove damaged or dead stems and control size. Trim after flowering using clean pruners, cutting stems back to a natural joint or branch.

EXTRA NOTES: These are forest cacti that grow on tree bark, not in the desert
