GARDEN SIZE: up to 25 to 30 feet tall by 8 to 10 feet wide in 10 years (50 to 60 feet tall with time) if left in natural form

GROWTH RATE: Fast (up to 3-4 feet per year under ideal conditions)

USDA ZONE: 4-8

EXPOSURE: Full Sun (6 or more hours of sun per day, ideally light afternoon shade)

WATER & SOIL: Average, well-drained soil; will need additional water in times of drought

HABIT (FORM): uniform conical

FOLIAGE: Evergreen; Scale-like needles with green foliage

PLANT ORIGIN: Hybrid of Thuja standishii and Thuja plicata

FERTILIZING: Feed in spring and fall with acidic organic fertilizer.

PRUNING: Minimal shearing required. Hand pruning is preferred. Late winter or early summer is best.
