GARDEN SIZE: 4-5 ft. x 4-5 ft. in ten years if left in natural form

GROWTH RATE: Moderate (up to 6 to 12 inches per year under ideal conditions)

EXPOSURE: Full sun (6 or more hours of sun per day, ideally light afternoon shade)

WATER & SOIL: Average, well-drained soil; will need additional water in times of drought

HABIT (FORM): Multi-stemmed, Mounded Conifer with arching branches

FOLIAGE: Green, finely textured scale-like needles; Turns bronze in winter

PLANT ORIGIN: Pacific northwest of the United States

CARE: Fertilize once in the spring after the last freeze, and again in the fall at least a month before the first freeze with a mild evergreen fertilizer such as Holly-tone.

WILDLIFE SUPPORT: May provide some nesting sites and shelter for birds and small mammals, but does not serve as much of a food source for local insects and wildlife.
