BLOOMS: Inconspicuous white flowers in the spring

FRUIT: Does not produce berries, but can pollinate female varieties such as Hightower, Kathy Ann Batson, Nana, Pendula, Pride of Houston, Scarlet’s Peak, and Taylor’s Rudolph.

CARE: Use an acid-loving plant fertilizer in the late winter or early spring before the first flush of growth. Prune annually right after blooming if shaping is desired. Blooms on old growth.
