Pale gold margins with distinctive waves accentuate each green-centered leaf. Garden critters can walk the tesseract bridges created by the many undulations of the folded leaves. In summer, lavender flowers emerge on tall, slender stalks.

Foliage: Pointed, ovate leaves with dark green centers and creamy yellow margins that mature to white in summer. Each leaf has a distinctive single wave or curl, and the leaves are somewhat folded and slightly twisted, giving the clump a very wavy overall appearance.
Flowers: Pale lavender, tube-shaped flowers that grow on scapes above the foliage. Blooms mid summer.
Plant Origin: East Asia, primarily Japan and Korea. Most commercially available hostas are hybrids.
Wildlife Support: Hummingbirds and some bees enjoy the flowers. A favorite treat for our local deer.
Fertilizing: Apply compost in early spring before new growth emerges.
