You may not find gold at the rainbow's end, but this shiny green and gold hosta might be the next best thing. Streaks of yellow jet through its glossy, dark green leaves. In summer long, red stems supporting lavender flowers add to the colorful spectacle.

Garden Size: 11 inches tall by 21 inches wide; scape height 16-20 inches
Growth Rate: Slow
USDA Zone: 3-9

The yellow color lightens to creamy white in summer.
Flowers: Lavender, tube-shaped flowers grow on reddish scapes above the foliage. Blooms late summer.

Wildlife Support: Hummingbirds and some bees enjoy the flowers. A favorite treat for our local deer.
