COMMON NAME: Bromeliad
LIGHT: Bright to medium indirect light
WATERING: Allow the top 2 inches of soil to dry out before watering again
SOIL: Rich, well-draining mix with added perlite, orchid bark, or coco coir chips for extra drainage
FERTILIZING: Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced houseplant fertilizer or one formulated for bromeliads
PRUNING: Remove spent flowers and dead leaves; pups (offsets) can be separated once mature
EXTRA NOTES: Will only bloom once in their lifetime, but offsets will grow and bloom in time
