EXPOSURE: Full Sun to Partial Shade; brightest yellow color in more sun
WATER & SOIL: Average to medium-moisture, well-drained soil; prefers moist, fertile soils; avoid poorly drained sites and protect from strong winds
HABIT (FORM): Globe, dense, low, irregular mound
FOLIAGE: Evergreen; Golden yellow, fine-textured foliage that brightens in sun
FLOWERS: Non-flowering; small, inconspicuous cones
PLANT ORIGIN: Japanese islands of Honshu and Kyushu
