COMMON NAME: Orchid
LIGHT: Bright indirect light
WATERING: Water when mostly dry; roots should be silvery gray when dry and green when properly hydrate. Do not use ice! It’s too cold and doesn’t supply enough water. They like humidity.
SOIL: Orchid mix or any very chunky medium
FERTILIZING: Feed every 2–4 weeks with a diluted orchid fertilizer during active growth
PRUNING: Trim spent flower spikes after blooming; remove dead or damaged roots and leaves as needed
EXTRA NOTES: Epiphytes grow on trees in the wild. You may supplement with a pebble tray.
