Glossy, prominently veined leaves have a gorgeous deep green color with narrow chartreuse centers in the shape of a downy feather. With partial sun exposure, the leaf centers brighten to pale gold. Lavender flowers top the foliage in summer.

Foliage: Smooth, shiny leaves with wide, dark green margins and narrow chartreuse centers that brighten to pale gold with partial sun exposure. The yellow leaf centers have a feathered shape that emanates from the leaf base. Leaves are heart-shaped and prominently veined.
Flowers: Lavender, tube-shaped flowers that grow on scapes above the foliage. Blooms mid summer.
Plant Origin: East Asia, primarily Japan and Korea. Most commercially available hostas are hybrids.
Wildlife Support: Hummingbirds and some bees enjoy the flowers. A favorite treat for our local deer.
