September Arrives

Best of Nashville 2016 voting ends Tuesday September 6th

While it may be hard to believe Labor Day weekend is here, the seasonal changes that come with the time of year are certainly welcome.  Even though Labor Day has been celebrated for over 125 years, it is still a day where many folks take time to enjoy the outdoors away from their normal occupations.

Early September is also the time when folks in middle Tennessee vote for their favorites.  This is the final stretch for voting, and we would appreciate you voting for us! If you want to vote, you need to make it count. Go to the Best of Nashville 2016 page and either login or create a new account.  Fortunately, the process is quick and easy, especially if you login with Facebook.  Once you’re logged in, you will need to vote in at least 20 categories for your votes to count.

We have finally completed our laborious re-furbishing of our facilities’ paved areas.  We have successfully completed cleaning, patching, filling cracks, re-applying pavement sealant and striping. If I do say so myself, it turned out pretty well, as it was a concerted group effort.  The amount of sweat and strain exerted by all of my ‘guys’ is what made it possible.  I know one thing: we are all glad it is done!

We have made a few subtle changes on the layout here and there.  Those will be most noticeable on the ‘shade’ area side.  We have in the past, failed to utilize the areas along the fence to their best extent.  By moving an aisle and changing the layout along the perennial areas, it is our hope to make for a much more ‘shop-able’ experience with the elimination of dead-ended aisles.

We say farewell to the summer season by extending to you, a BatesRewards member, a special offering.  Friday, Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday you may purchase any one* item at 40% off! Limit one item* per BatesRewards household.

Sale ends Thursday September 8th; we are closed Labor Day,

David Bates
