We had a few days of a tease last week. This past weekend we got a real indication of the weather we are looking forward to enjoying on a more consistent basis. Now that spring is officially here you would think we would be well into the warmer, more seasonable weather; that's not the case. With high temperatures currently only in the 40s and perhaps only the 50s by the weekend, it's a little difficult to believe it actually is spring, but that's what the calendar says.
While we do have to acquiesce to the cold weather with regard to annuals, we certainly haven't let it affect us in any other way. There is no reason to. Although we all prefer to be working in short sleeves, it's still a great time to plant. It is a great time for planning as well. One of the most underrated aspects of any project you are undertaking is the planning. That's where we hope to really make a difference for you and your landscape.
The digital world we live in adds to the opportunity for improving your landscape. With a smart phone in your pocket, you have got a great tool at your disposal to take a few shots, or a short video of the area that you're getting ready to work on. Equipped with that, you bring to us great information, to aid us in suggesting the right plant, in the right place, the first time.
This Saturday, we are pleased to kick-off our education series in The GreenRoom.
