Sun loving Mushrooms have arrived!

Just in time for April

Even if you don’t get to work outdoors like we do, (I don’t mean to rub that in) you can’t help but feeling a bit more upbeat this week. Sunshine and more sunshine accompanied by glorious temperatures have us all a bit euphoric. The time for hibernation has passed. We can all get out and enjoy every outdoor activity with vim and vigor. Here are a few things to think about on a beautiful April 1st.

We just received an entire semi load of sun-loving mushrooms. They are only shipped in the dark of night to preserve their freshness. These jumbo beauties are great for hedge plantings and are also excellent for water gardens and as a soil stabilizer in erosion prone areas. When kept mowed, they can also be an effective groundcover and they can tolerate even the driest conditions. Since they are hybridized from 100% post-consumer recyclable content, they make a natural “green” statement, regardless of which color you choose! Best of all they maintain their color year-round so you only have to plant one time and there is never any maintenance. In Timbuktu, they have been used for years in weddings and funerals alike. We have a very limited quantity available today only.

If all that sounds too good to be true, well, it is…too good to be true. After all, it is April Fool’s Day.

What is the truth however, is that we are stocked to the gills with the finest flowers, hanging baskets, ferns, vegetable plants, edible (as well as non-edible) landscape plants, trees, groundcovers, roses, flowering vines, flowering shrubs, perennials, grasses and much more. As a part of a plan of success in planting, we offer EarthMix® soil products to give your plants the opportunity to thrive, not just survive, where Success begins at the ground level™

All of the plants and products don’t mean much if you don’t have the expertise to go with it. This is where we really shine. We have a staff full of friendly professionals. We are here to get you answers to your questions. We strive you help you get the right plant in the right place, the first time.

We will be open Easter Sunday, April 4th from Noon to 4pm. Beginning Monday, April 5, we will be expanding our weekday hours to: 8am until 6pm Monday through Saturday.
