March is here; has the fever hit you yet?
Plants are rolling in…now open Saturdays!
With noticeably improving weather becoming more routine, the arrival of March is truly welcome. If you’re feeling giddy, don’t fight the feeling. We are well underway with stocking our lot and putting out the plants. No tomato plants yet…that will be just a few weeks. It’s a bit early to be going in the ground with garden plants just yet.
So, you ask, what is it time for? Well, I’ll tell you. It is a great time to plant nearly anything in your landscape. Whether it’s trees you’re looking for or foundation plants around the house, we already have a tremendous selection of a great many items. Perhaps you know you want and need to plant but you have no idea what. That is where we can help. Our staff of horticultural experts are up to the task of helping you choose the right plant for the right place. There’s nothing worse than finding out in a few years that a plant chosen will never be able to be contained within the confines of the space or will never reach the size to cover the view of the neighbor’s back yard.
It may be that you require a bit more time. I suggest you consider our “We Plan, You Plant” service. Our designer, Katherine Raymond will meet with you at the nursery. You need to come prepared with photographs and basic knowledge of your home’s layout. You will receive an hour and a half session with Katherine, where she will do a consult, sketch, and a walk about the lot to choose your landscape favorites: All of this for just $99. Send Katherine an email, firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule an appointment.
We’re now open on Saturday, tomorrow until 3:30. Beginning Monday, March 7, 2011, our hours will be 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Saturday. Of course, we will expand our hours and days as spring draws ever nearer.
Randall Lantz of the Nashville Lawn and Garden Show will be an “on-air” guest on “The At Home Show with Josh Cary and yours truly”. Listen for Randall at the top of the eight o’clock hour; we’ll be on starting at 7am on SuperTalk 99.7 WTN-FM, as we do every Saturday morning…talking landscaping and home improvement. I invite you to tune in!
Come on out and see us…now open Saturdays!
