Procrastination Avoidance

Early Bird savings Saturday morning (10/15/11) 8am until 10am…

Okay, I did it. I got a physical. I didn’t intend to wait so long since my last. Life got busy; not enough hours in a day; not enough days in a week; not enough weeks in the…well, you get the picture. Perhaps procrastinators anonymous has room for one more. On the other hand, I may put that off for a while.

I didn’t intend to wait 3-1/2 years between medical scrutiny sessions. Time sure flies when you’re having fun…actually time just flies, regardless. Despite the angst associated with medical interaction, I got a great report. So, I made my appointment for next year while I was there; I’m trying to reform my procratinatious ways.

I’ve been thinking for a bit about the early morning lull on Saturdays. Don’t get me wrong, everyone who works here enjoys the Saturday morning quiet, especially with me gone; doing my radio show at the same time. I got to thinking how we could integrate our TailgateCentral theme with early Saturday mornings. Here’s what we’ve come up with: Wear any jersey or shirt or ball cap from the team you support; be it Pop Warner, middle school, high school, college or professional team and be certified “in-line” for checkout by 10:00 am and you’ll receive 10% off your entire purchase. Be the early bird, get 10% off!

BatesRewards members will continue to receive special pricing on Gold Standard Fescue (early birds will get that plus 10% off). In addition to that, we have everything you could want for your garden; be it trees, shrubs, ground covers, ornamental grasses, pansies, violas, perennials, soils, you name it, we have it. More than that, we pride ourselves in providing the expertise to help you get the right plant in the right place, the first time.

If you can’t make it by 10, we still have snacks and soft drinks in TailgateCentral, located in The GreenRoom. Take a load off, catch up on scores, grab a snack.

We look forward to seeing you,

David Bates
