The end of May marks the
‘un-official’ end of spring. Technically summer doesn’t begin for a few weeks,
but when your brain thinks ‘June’, you think summer; at least I do anyway.
Making the shift to a summer mindset isn’t a bad thing; we have that long
growing-season ahead. For folks like you and me that is good indeed. Despite
what your head may be telling you, summer-like weather doesn’t mean it is in
any way-shape-form-or-fashion too late to plant. It only gets too late to plant
when it gets dark, and only then if you don’t have a headlamp.
We’re all about helping you have the highest success rate in gardening. I’m uncertain who might keep up with such statistical data, but I’m pretty sure there’s some Big-Brother-of-gardening watching us; tracking success and failure. We don’t want to take any chance on you winding up on some ‘bad gardener’ list.
That’s why we’re mighty proud to have our good friend Drew Sullivan of Dickens Turf & Landscape Supply in “The GreenRoom” this Saturday morning. Drew will discuss, “The What, Where & How of Monty’s” at 11am. In addition to enlightening you on the wonders of “Monty’s Joy Juice” and how it will economically enhance your garden, Drew will also give 2-64oz. bottles away. We’ll throw in 5 “Dirt” shirts as well! And just in case you don’t win, we will have special pricing on Monty’s 8oz. reg $8.99 for $6.99. Call or email Sara to make your reservation: 615.876.1014.
We also now have ‘I like to play in the Dirt” shirts available for purchase. These heavy-weight, 100% cotton beauties are the ultimate gardening fashion statement…and they look nice too. S-M-L-XL for $19.99; 2X for $21.99.
